Founded in 1923, Mt. Paran Baptist Church has been a place where faith, family, and community come together in the heart of Branford, Florida. As a proud member of the Southern Baptist Convention and the Florida Baptist Convention, our church is rooted in biblical teaching and guided by our mission to Love. Serve. Grow.
We are a traditional Southern Baptist church with a welcoming spirit and a heart for reaching others. Whether you’re exploring faith for the first time or looking for a church home, you’ll find a community that values worship, discipleship, and service.
Our weekly gatherings include Sunday School at 10:00 a.m., Worship at 11:00 a.m., and Wednesday night fellowship with a meal at 6:00 p.m. followed by classes for all ages at 6:30 p.m. From our youngest children to our college students and adults, there’s a place for everyone to learn and grow together.
Led by Pastor Spencer Corbett, Mt. Paran Baptist Church strives to make God’s love known—both within our walls and throughout our community. Through heartfelt worship, service opportunities, and connection with one another, we aim to help every person who walks through our doors discover who we are, what we believe, and how they can grow in faith.
Meet Our Pastor
Brother Spencer joined Mt. Paran Baptist Church in September 2024. He lives in Jasper with his wife, Mandy, and is father to their four children Kailey, Nathan, Karsyn, and Heather.
Born in Valdosta, Georgia, and raised in Jennings, Florida, Brother Spencer surrendered his life to the ministry in 2009. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Valdosta State University and a Master’s degree in Ministry from Grace Theological Seminary.
He has a heart for sharing God’s Word, serving others, and helping families grow in their walk with Christ.
Meet Our Deacons
At Mt. Paran Baptist Church, our deacons serve alongside the pastor to support the spiritual and practical needs of our church family. They are faithful servants who help care for our members, lead by example, and strengthen the ministry of the church through prayer, service, and encouragement.
